strongly supported by our many country members throughout NSW.
Some of our
on going interests are to:
- Promote our
industry
- Recommend to
cemeteries that they accept only work from qualified masons that are
members of our Association
- Help masons
obtain fair treatment from the various trusts and councils that run
cemeteries
- Assist cemetery
authorities in their dealings with our members
- Help members
and cemeteries correctly interpret, understand and implement
Australian Standards for Cemeteries
- Foster
relations with higher educational institutions and assist in the
formulation of syllabus for the effective training of new apprentices
entering the industry
- Liaise with
similar State and International associations on cemetery matters of
mutual interest
- Mediate in
disputes between our members and their clients to achieve a fair
settlement
- Police a code
of conduct for our members
